At Himalaya Opticals, with over 90 years of legacy and more than 150 stores across India, we take pride in being India’s No. 1 expert optician. Since our inception, we have been committed to offering only 100% genuine products, upholding quality, and building trust for generations

Every frame, sunglass and contact lens available on our website or in our retail stores is hand-picked and sourced directly from reputable manufacturers or authorized distributors in India. All branded products come with:

  • An authenticity card

  • Original packaging and accessories

  • A tax invoice from Himalaya Opticals

At Himalaya Opticals, all our products come with a minimum one-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects only. If you encounter any manufacturing defect, we will either replace the product or issue a credit note, depending on product availability.

Warranty Exclusions: Complaints regarding defects or damage caused by accidents, mishandling, or natural wear and tear, including but not limited to natural discoloration of frames or sunglasses, twisting or bending of the frames or sunglasses, scratching or tarnishing, and damage or loss of screws, stones, or crystals, are not covered under warranty.

Complimentary Repairs & Adjustments

  • We offer minor repairs and adjustments free of cost, regardless of where the eyewear was purchased.

  • Any service that can be handled in-store without involving parent companies will be conducted at no charge.

  • For repairs requiring manufacturer intervention, we strive to minimize costs while ensuring the best service possible.

Advanced Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Our stores are equipped with ultrasonic cleaning machines, offering a dry-cleaning service for your frames to maintain hygiene and longevity.

  • Repairs and services are provided on a case-by-case basis, ensuring tailored solutions for your eyewear needs.

  • Repairs are conducted at the customer’s own risk, with utmost care taken by our expert technicians.

3) Shipping & Returns

i) Shipping Policy

  • Orders are delivered within seven working days, excluding national holidays, natural calamities, and emergencies.

  • Himalaya Opticals ensures secure shipping and prompt resolution of delivery-related issues.

  • Free shipping is available across India.

ii) Exchange & Return Policy

Sunglasses and Frames

  • Eligible for exchange within seven days of delivery if unused and returned with original tags, packaging, and the tax invoice.
  • Exchanges can be processed online or at any Himalaya Opticals store.
  • If selecting a lower-priced product, the price difference will not be refunded; instead, a credit note will be issued.
  • A credit note for the full value will be provided if no suitable replacement is found.
  • Credit notes have no expiry.
  • Ray-Ban META AI Glasses once sold cannot be exchanged or returned or refunded

All returns and store credits are subject to a detailed quality check of the returned items.

Contact Lenses

  • Exchange is permitted within 3 months of delivery only in case of a power change.
  • Lenses must be returned unopened, undamaged, and with the tax invoice.

iii) Important Conditions for Exchange and Returns

  • Unboxing Video Required: A continuous, unedited video of the sealed package being opened must be provided.

  • Sealed Condition: The video must show the package in its original sealed state.

  • No Used or Tampered Items: Returns will not be accepted if the product is used, tampered with, or different from the one originally shipped.

  • Policy Enforcement: Himalaya Opticals reserves the right to reject returns/exchanges if these conditions are not met.

4) Refund & Cancellation

Himalaya Opticals follows a strict no-refund policy but offers exchanges and cancellations under the following conditions:

i) Exchanges

  • Sunglasses and frames can be exchanged within 7 days if unused and returned with original tags, packaging case, soft case, selvet and intact invoice.

  • If a lower-priced product is selected, a credit note/store credit will be issued for the difference.

  • If you do not like any other product at the time of exchange, a credit note/store credit will be provided.

  • Ray-Ban META AI Glasses once sold cannot be exchanged or returned or refunded

ii) Cancellations

  • Cancel within 12 hours:
    Orders can be canceled within 12 hours of placement. Cancellations after 12 hours will not be accepted unless initiated by Himalaya Opticals.

  • Cancellation by Himalaya Opticals:
    If Himalaya Opticals cancel an order due to internal reasons, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method, with the reason for cancellation provided.

  • Himalaya Opticals is not liable for delays in delivery beyond the committed timeframe.

  • Ray-Ban META AI Glasses once sold cannot be exchanged or returned or refunded

iii) Credit Notes/Store Credit

Credit notes/store credit have no expiry and can be used for future purchases online or in-store.

iv) Quality Checks

All returns and store credits are subject to quality verification by the Himalaya Opticals team.

  • In case of pricing discrepancies due to technical errors, refunds may be issued at our discretion.

  • Users must maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials.

4. Intellectual Property

11. Redemption of Rewards

  • Reward credits can only be redeemed on selected products and brands (Upto 18% per order).

  • This reward redemption is not valid on Ray-ban Sunglasses, Ray-ban Meta AI Glasses, Cartier (Frame Sunglasses), Maui Jum (Sunglasses), Oakley (Sunglasses) or any other limited edition frames or sunglasses. 

  • Reward point redemption is not valid on contact lenses.

  • Only a 15% discount is applicable on redemption of referal points on selected frames and sunglasses.

  • ⁠The referral points redemption is not valid on Ray-ban Sunglasses, Ray-ban Meta AI Glasses, Cartier (Frame Sunglasses), Maui Jum (Sunglasses), Oakley (Sunglasses) or any other limited edition frames or sunglasses.
